Architectural Standard Guidelines
Sorrento Skies is a unique neighborhood. While we do allow variation in home styles and material choices throughout the community, there are restrictions that apply to all property owners. For new home builders, the location and topography of your lot, along with the existing homes in your general area, are all given significant consideration by the ARC when approving or denying your plans.
The following guidelines are to help you submit projects that will comply with the deeded restrictions, help to preserve the natural beauty of the area and ensure that our homes are kept in harmony with each other. Guidelines are not absolute, as each property and each request is unique. How it blends with neighboring properties and the neighborhood as a whole is the most important consideration.
We have tried to make this as comprehensive as possible, but it is not all-inclusive. Even if an item is listed as acceptable or has been used in other areas, it still may not be deemed appropriate in a particular project. Also, materials not listed may be considered.
