Architectural Review Committee (ARC)

To submit or review ARC requests, please log into our partner site: www.payhoa.com

Our Architectural Review Committee reviews plans to ensure they are in harmony with the general area and surrounding structures as well as being in compliance with the deeded restrictions.  The ARC consists of a minimum of three Association members who are appointed by the Board of Directors.

The Application and Review Procedures outlines the steps involved when building or modifying your property.

All New Construction Applications and Exterior Modification Requests for existing homes must:

Note – Modification Requests are no longer required if you are repainting or reroofing using the exact same colors and materials that had previously been approved.

The POA allows a maximum of two (2) years for new construction projects and one (1) year for modifications to be completed.  Additional time for cause may be requested.  Projects not completed within the approved time frame will be turned over to the Board and may be subject to Board action.

**IMPORTANT NOTE IF YOU PLAN ON BUILDING A NEW HOME

Prior to submitting any new home plans for ARC approval, we STRONGLY recommend contacting the ARC to discuss the style of home you hope to build BEFORE you invest any significant time or money developing your final build plan (via architectural drawings, site evaluations, etc.).  While we do allow variation in home styles and material choices throughout the community, there are restrictions that apply to all new homebuilders.  The location and topography of your lot, along with the existing homes in your general area, are all given significant consideration by the ARC when approving or denying a new home plan.   As stated above, our goals are to ensure compliance with the deeded restrictions, preserve the natural beauty of the area and ensure that any new homes are kept in harmony with the adjacent structures by avoiding a situation where a home competes with or dominates its general surroundings.  Additional information for new construction can be found here.

Radon Gas is often found in high levels in our area. Be sure to talk with your builder about radon mitigation.

Please log into our partner site: www.payhoa.com to complete your requests.  Completed requests should be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to the anticipated start of the project. Failure to receive ARC approval of your project may lead to the imposition of fines.

While certain disruption to the neighborhood is expected during projects, the restrictions still need to be followed. Reminders for Property Owners and Contractors has been prepared to help with this.  It is always a good idea to give a copy of this to your contractor.
